Synopsis:

For more than 25 years, the Neo-Futurists theatre ensemble has been successfully performing in Chicago before an enthusiastic and much diverse audience. Every week Megan, Leah, Brenda, Kurt, Trevor and Noelle write and perform new plays: political satires, melancholic monologues, dada-style or pure slapstick comedy. THE NEO-FUTURISTS: IN THE MAKING gives us unique insight at their creative process and the challenges the ensemble has to face in a shifting cultural landscape, where the burst of digital entertainment brings the place of performing arts, and of their own commitment and yearnings, into question.
