Synopsis

In Carmen’s office, a steady flow of people come and go—men and women who have settled in Beaucaire and Tarascon as agricultural workers. Farms in the Bouches-du-Rhône, Gard, and Vaucluse departments employ thousands of Latin American workers each year to pick flowers, vegetables, and fruit. Within this confined space, life stories unfold, along with transnational family trajectories and new forms of belonging.
