Working at 20
A short documentary by Géraldine Millo

30' I French
Synopsis
While waiting for the world to change, the students of Paul Cornu High School in Normandy take hold of the world as it is. The girls are renewing the ranks of care assistants, and the boys those of metalworkers. Work is still in the process of being learned; little by little, the students are becoming professionals. They already have their own ideas about what awaits them when, at twenty, they enter the job market. Staying here or leaving, pursuing a passion or facing financial realities, the excitement of something new alongside questions about the realities of the profession: as they reveal themselves through the professional choreographies they are learning, they put into words the legacy they are making their own.
